I was born in a small village in the Democratic Republic of Congo and spent many years there while my parents worked as missionaries who trained local pastors. I graduated from the American school after many years of moving back and forth to Canada. I am married to an entrepreneur and have two wonderful girls.
I have a B.ED and B.S from the University of Saskatchewan. I spent time teaching in rural Saskatchewan, as well as subbing in West Vancouver and Vancouver before coming to Delta Christian School. I have had the privilege of teaching here since 1994 and witnessed a move from the ‘old school’ to our new school.
I feel it is very important to make each child who enters my classroom feel they are special in God’s eyes and mine and that they have a purpose in creating our special community. Each student is encouraged to explore his/her strengths and work on areas of growth in a safe environment.
